US’ Anti-Huawei Campaign Likely To Tarnish Country’s Image—Huawei CEO

During a press conference, the CEO of Huawei said that if the US would not stop its ways of threatening industrialists and businessmen of foreign nations then no one would invest in the country. Recently, America has persuaded most of its allied nations to stop using the technologies of Huawei in their 5G networking. The Trump government had warned it’s allied that China may spy on their internal affairs through the wireless 5G technology.

Contrary to the allegations made by the US, China had denied upfront and had asked the Trump government to provide evidence that they are indulged in such activities. As a countermeasure, Mr. Ren Zhengfie has filed a case against the present American government. In a press conference, Mr. Zhengfie pointed out the names of Cisco and Ericsson and questioned whether they don’t face similar security issues.

Mr. Zhengfie also stated that the Chinese government has no influence over Huawei and it is solely run by its hardworking employees. The CEO of Huawei further said that he would close his multibillion-dollar industry than to spy on the US.

On the other hand, Trump government had sent a letter to Germany stating that it would limit Germany’s access to US intelligence if the country would take help of China in designing the 5G network. Previously, the US had also arrested Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer of Huawei under the allegations of sanction evasion.

During an exclusive interview, Mr. Zhengfie asked whether the US telecommunication is facing any glitch at the very moment. He also said that if the US doesn’t allow Huawei to work in the country then they would sell their products and services to some other country. Mr. Ren also stated that Meng Wanzhou is innocent and he believes that the US government has to free her from every other charge.
